The card reader does not work with my credit card authorization software

Cause: Data output format error.

Solution: Change the Termination String to be output after each track of data. 

Steps : With your keyboard connected to the card reader and using Windows notepad or some other program you can type in follow these steps:

  1. Use the Quick Keys sequence: <Left-Control> <2> <Right-Shift> and <Enter> on your keyboard.
  2. Go back to your credit card software and retry a card swipe.
  3. If this does not fix the issue then please contact technical support and we will attempt to find a solution for your.
