The card reader does not beep when powered on, and appears dead

Cause: The Card Reader's decoder chip is no longer functioning or there is some other issue.

Solution: Contact technical support for repair.

- OR -

Cause: The connector on the Card Reader could have a bent pin.

Solution: Inspect the end of the connector and if you can straighten any bent pins. If unable to fix the cable, contact technical support for further assistance.
