The card reader does not beep when powered on, and appears dead

Cause: The Card Reader's decoder chip is no longer functioning or there is some other issue.

Solution: Contact technical support for repair.

- OR -

Cause: The connector on the Card Reader could have a been damaged. 

Solution: Inspect the connector and if the USB connector appears to be loose then it is possible that it has been damaged.  Please contact technical support for further troubleshooting and assistance @ 817-285-8772.
