PawnMaster software is sales and
accounting software for the Pawn Shop. Some releases of the software
integrate PC Charge into the software as a means to process credit cards.
As such, they have a couple of different methods of receiving credit card data
from a card reader. We detail the steps below for both possible
options. These options below are ones that we have successfully used to
configure the reader for use with the software.
Option 1 - No Start & End Sentinels
This option is used to configure the reader to turn
off Start & End Sentinels and set the termination string to be sent after
each track. This option was implemented with customers during calls with
our customer support. We now are offering this solution for your
particular installation. If you configure the reader as detailed in this
option and you are still having issues with credit card swipes, try Option
2.
